John and Ceri Fairbrotherjhfairbrother@yahoo.co.ukWe had a most enjoyable day on the Spires and Umpires run today. Although we didn't have to travel far to join you, we normally travel through the area on our way to or back from Wales. This run was on roads that we had never travelled before and the route was excellent and well organised. Thanks to all the members involved for their time and effort in getting this day off the ground and producing such a well organised day.13th May 2012

Chris Hoggchris.hogg001@btinternet.comHi, I was entrant 110 on the day of the flood. Thank you for an excellent, if wet , run. As usual it was all well organised - Excellent butties & liked the policeman on the entrance. A shame the weather ruined all your best efforts. As this now seems to be developing into a pattern perhaps snorkels could be issued next year ? Thanks for the programme and photo - sorry i couldnt face swimming back to collect it on the day. See you next year - 2012 the anniversary of the Titanic !!!! 21st June 2011
Peter Forster & Charlotte Phillipspforster@tchgroup.co.ukThank you for organisng the event. I felt so sorry for the organisers who were drenched and totally understand why you decided to abondon ship due to the weather. Cannot believe it is June. Charlotte and I had looked forward to the event and the route we took was very scenic and we will do it again with the top down when it is sunny. Is there any chance of the very proffessional photograph on e mail? Regards P & C 20th June 2011

Mike Duleymeduley@talktalk.netA most enjoyable day with perfect weather. Chris and Jude Catlin.Just wanted to let you know what an enjoyable day we had yesterday on the Chase. It was a first "in the Trees" and was by far the best event we have been to in a very long time. Yes, of course the weather made a significant difference but what was particularly noticeable was the genuine welcome we received on arrival, the friendliness of everyone involved and a real sense of concern that we had had an enjoyable time. The whole event was well and professionally organised with a good itinerary. I can only imagine the enormous amount of hard work that goes into organising such an event and I would be grateful if you would pass our thanks to everyone involved for making it such a great day. I hope that the generosity of those attending enables the club to exceed last year's donation to such a worthy charity. My only disappointment is that I'm not local enough to have SSMGOC as my club ! Regards Chris and Jude Catlin (Entrant 140) 15th June 2009

Gary Troman,Sutton Coldfield.Gary.Troman@btinternet.comWe had a fantastic day, the organisation was perfect. The venue could not be improved on, the run(Churnet Valley Railway) was very enjoyable. Even when we were driving down a country lane, went round a bend to be confronted with a 12 foot tramoline that had blown over someones garden wall. The route directions were very accurate. So a BIG THANK YOU to the Team that organised this event and to the scouts for doing a sterling job of marshalling. If anyone knows where you got the bacon from, could you let me know - it was delicious. Looking forward to 'MGs in the Trees 2009'. Gary and Lynn - MG TF - X500 MG.24th June 2008

Roger + Nicky Boys and Paddy (the Westie)rogerb@newbury.netWe have had a wonderful day on the event and would like to say a very big thank you to all the team that worked so hard to put it on. We completed the Ironbridge run and were surprised that there was so much to see. This sadly meant that we were the second last car to return when you were all working hard to pack up! One last point while I know that you do not recommend any of the places mentioned in your suggested accommodation sheet, however please be aware that the one we stayed at was very poor and in our view should be removed. Three couples, of which we were one, were all booked in for two nights but left after one - it was the Cottage Guest House, Pear Tree Close. Huntington.23rd June 2008
Phil + Olivia Daviesphil@sunnyvilla.fsworld.co.ukMG's in the trees 2008: what an excellent run! Steve MooreSteve@s-moore.co.ukWell done to SSMGOC for putting on a great Show on Sunday 17th June. Using great team work, it was a credit to the club. Here's to another one soon!!18th June 2007
Mike Lanemike.lane1@virgin.netGreat day and organisation on this, our first MG's in the Trees Cannock Chase Run. Your arrowed MG pointer signs to the event were very welcome to us outsiders, these being finally found after driving around the area for some little while, followed by other MG's who we noticed, also stopped behind us and asked the same local people for the same directions as we did! They obviously knew the golden rule not to follow the car in front as they may be lost and in this case, was very true! We supported your event as we met you at Stoneleigh and were impressed with the effort you made then. I also know this to be the same story from fellow MG'ers from the Bedford group, so it does work! Your cheery marshalling was well organised and their hard work much appreciated. The excellent route was well planned and we only had one slight detour. Congratulations to all. Mike Lane (Oxford Blue RV8 - Winchester MGOC)18th June 2007
